MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium which has a superior cleaning effect to clean a head, a superior durability and a favorable still life. CONSTITUTION:At least two coating layers are formed on one surface of a non-magnetic supporting body. The uppermost of the coating layers is a magnetic layer. The uppermost magnetic layer is the magnetic recording medium having the thickness of not larger than 0.2-0.5mum, which includes Al2O3 particles containing an inorganic substance of an average particle size of 0.1-0.3mum.
