PURPOSE:To interactively correct the deformation of an image to be generated in the case of reducing image data at a certain magnification. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a memory means 10 for storing image data before and after reduction, thinning transforming means 20 for thinning dot data at a thinning position in a row direction and/or a column direction decided in advance according to a reduction factor, display means 30 for displaying the image data before and after the reduction and a shift indicating means 40 for indicating the change of the thinning position while observing the display means 30, and the deletion of graphic elements consisting of the main part of a source image is reudced as much as possible by interactively shifting the thinning position. |
