PURPOSE: To prevent danger of a high voltage by locking a closing part with a releasable plug part at the position where the closing part blocks an opening. CONSTITUTION: This headlight has a connector including a plug part 31 disposed in a casing 10 and a releasable plug part 32. The part 31 is held in a wall part 34 of the casing 10 adjacently to a closing part 22 by a lock device, while disposed below, beside or above the part 22 according to a incorporating condition to an automobile body. The wall part 34 has an opening 35 penetrated by a portion of the part 31, while the portion is formed with one or more lock arms 36 and locked inside the casing 10. The part 22 can be released from outside of the casing 10, and releasably connected to the casing 10 so as to open an opening 20. By inclining the part 22 and lessening an interval, the part 22 is locked at a position where the part 22 blocks the opening 20. Releasing of the part 22 interrupts the connection between a gas discharge lamp 14 and a voltage source 26. |
