The assembly of a shadow mask and a frame of a color braun tube prevents deformation of a mask and the frame and also cuts off electron beam emitted beside on an effective face. The assembly is constructed by a fusing of one flange formed around a lower end of the shadow mask and of another flange formed around an upper end of the frame so as to be face to face correspondingly to one flange, so that a given enlarged width is provided.
