Video camera system for surveillance and inspection purposes

A surveillance system of a type for use in a building or similar is based upon a video camera that received images from a controlled mirror system. The mirror is in the form of micro-mechanical elements formed in an array that can be subdivided in to quadrants. Each quadrant contains a large number of mirror elements that can be moved between more than two definite positions to obtain different images to be observed by the camera. The movement of the mirrors can be achieved by an electrostatic action.
