Plant-pot with indentations for root ball

The pot is particularly of plastics and has indentations (5a,5b) in its wall (2) protruding into the space for the root ball. They can be in one or more pairs, or individual and evenly spaced. Each indentation can widen towards the bottom from its apex line (9), for easy stacking. Ventilation passages (7) with apertures (8) in the pot bottom (3) can extend from the centre to the pairs of indentations. Clay in granular form can be laid on the bottom, the root-ball resting on it and being centred and held by the indentations. The space (4) between the indentations can also be filled with this granulate or active ventilation material.
