Cover assembly for electrolyte condensers

The cover assembly, for pressure sealed condenser vessels for electrolyte condensers, has a pliable sealing layer (32) at the outer surface of the cover, and an inner hard paper core (30) laminated with a chemically resistant material (34) and pref. PTFE. An elastomeric moulded unit (16) is at the inner side, with a passage (24,26) aligned with the passage (18,20) of the cover. The connection (22) and/or the valve (28) is pressed into place, with an axial force fit, between the outer sealing layer (32) and the inner moulded unit (16) with an outer and inner collar (48,52). The moulded unit (16) is of a rubber elastic, chemically resistant material pref. of hard rubber, silicon rubber, or an elastomeric.
