1,097,643. Camera support. K.J. SAGATIS. Feb. 3, 1966, No. 4701/66. Heading G2A. A camera c is supported in the lower (vertical) part d, e of a holder, whose upper (horizontal) part has two side extensions h to which are attached straps k. These enable the support to be suspended from the neck of an operator so that it is located just below his chin. Also attached to the upper part is a foldable bracket m, g, having at its upper end a viewing or sighting frame l. When the bracket is erected into the operative position, this frame is aligned with the operator's eye. A preliminary adjustment is carried out by sighting on to an object a a few feet away, and adjusting the inclination of the bracket accordingly. Sighting of any desired subject through frame l, and subsequent operation of the camera, can then be effected rapidly.
|
