PURPOSE:To provide a photoreceptor drum driving mechanism capable of switching full color and monochrome modes by using a single driving motor. CONSTITUTION:The photoreceptor drum driving mechanism is provided with a driving/selecting member 4 connected to the driving shaft 2 of a photoreceptor drum driving motor 1 and idled at the time of receiving a prescribed or more rotation-limiting force, a first stopping member 5 stopping the driving/selecting member in a first position, a second stopping member 6 stopping the driving/ selecting member in a second position, a transmission rotary body 7 transmitting driving force, a first rotary body 10 fitted to a first shaft 8 and rotated/driven by the transmission rotary body, to rotate/drive a monochromic photoreceptor drum 16 when the driving/selecting member is in the first position and a second rotary body 11 fitted to a second shaft 9 and rotating/driving color photoreceptor drums 23, 28 and 31 when the driving/selecting member is in the first position and the monochromic photoreceptor drum 16 when the driving/ selecting member is in the second position. |
