Two or more portions of the threads (3,3a,5,5a) in both the nut (1) and bolt (2) are milled away (4,4a,6,6a). Thus the two can be slid together and then secured by rotating the nut for part of a turn in relation to the bolt. All threads can be of the same pitch and height, and there can be additional material on the bolt increasing its strength and guiding the nut on assembly. The interrupted threads can alternatively the formed in the components themselves which are to be secured together.
