The appts. is intended for removal of multiple parts from the last operation stage of a press which interacts with three-dimensionally movable gripper rails of a transfer installation for sheet metal workpieces, and is provided with support elements for holding the workpieces and, if necessary, producing an additional stroke. The appts. is characterised by the fact that at least one stroke mechanism (1) for lifting and lowering motion is location after the last workstation of the press. The mechanism supports a longitudinal carriage (9) which is movable forwards and backwards in the workpiece transport direction, and is provided with support elements.
