Camshaft and drive gear arrangement for injection pump

The arrangement drives the drive gear (5) and has its hub press fitted onto the camshaft. The drive gear is located on a section (6) of the extended hub (3) of the camshaft gear (2), and the hub is shrunk onto the camshaft over its entire length, that being the width of at least the camshaft gear and drive gear. In the case of a mechanical pump, a mechanical injection adjuster is integrated into the camshaft gear and is fixed sideways on it. The drive wheel is arranged on the section of the hub and is rotatable relative to this by the working of the adjuster (4).
