The system has at least one deflection mechanism (1) which pivots about an axis to track the sun's position to deflect incident sunlight onto a receiver and which has an adjustment mechanism (4). The adjustment mechanism has a passive drive (6) controlled by a sensor (61) which responds to changes in the angle of incidence of sunlight. The drive is coupled to the deflection mechanism via a transmission arrangement (5) with a defined transmission ratio. The passive drive mechanism can be of the thermo-hydraulic type. ADVANTAGE - Has simplified drive mechanism which does not require additional manual or electronically controlled adjustment devices.
