PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse affection of impurities to a work to be treated by a method wherein a cell, through which the work to be treated can be taken into and out of a high- pressure vessel, is arranged, the outflow of gas from the cell to only outside direction is permitted, pressures of the inside and the outside of the cell are detected and the gas is supplied from a pressure accumulating device so that a pressure difference can be maintained within the range of predetermined values. CONSTITUTION:A work to be treated is inserted into a cell 11, a high-pressure vessel 1 and the cell 11 are evacuated and, subsequently, gas is supplied from a gas collecting device 16 into these vessel and cell and, further, the pressure accumulation of a pressure accumulating device 25 is effected. When the high-pressure vessel 11 is preceeded and the gas is returned into the high-pressure vessel 1 through a check valve 31 whereby a pressure balance between the inside and the outside of the cell 11 is kept. When the temperature of the vessel 1 and the cell 11 is reduced after treating the work under predetermined temperature and pressure, a pressure reduction in the cell 11 is preceeded, however, a pressure difference between the cell and the high-pressure vessel is detected by a pressure difference detector 36 and the gas is supplied from the pressure accumulating device 25 into the cell 11 when the detected value has exceeded a predetermined value to recover the pressure balance between the inside and the outside of the cell. |
