PURPOSE:To obtain the subject recording liquid containing a specific enzymatically active substance, developing few burnt deposits in a bubble jet head because of enabling decomposing burnt deposits developed on a heater to make them soluble to water, thus deliverable stably. CONSTITUTION:This recording liquid comprises (A) normally 0.5-15wt.% of a water-soluble dye (pref. C.I. Direct Black 17, 19, etc.) (B) pref. 20-50wt.% of a water-soluble medium (pref. a mixed solvent of deionized water and a polyhydric alcohol such as diethylene glycol) and (C) pref. 1-10mg/l, on a protein basis, of an enzymatically active substance (e.g. Flavobacterium sp. microbes themselves or aqueous extracts therefrom) catalyzing the introductive reaction of hydrophilic functional group into polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or the hydroxylation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. |
