PURPOSE:To easily form a reverse image (negative image) on a colored background. CONSTITUTION:A heat-reversible thermal recording medium wherein a heat- reversible thermal recording layer containing an electron donating color forming compd. and an electron acceptive compd. and forming a developed color state by heating/melting and forming a color erased state by heating at temp. lower than color forming temp. is provided on a support and at least one layer containing a color erasure accelerator is present is used. A negative image is formed to this recording medium preliminarily brought to a developed color state. |
