PURPOSE: To suppress the self reversing or self-locking to the minimum by integrally providing a reversing knob having a plastic head having a relatively large diameter on one end of a metallic shank to which an actuator pin engageable with the claw assembly of a claw mechanism is integrated. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical driving body 20 of a ratchet head 15 comprises an output shaft 21 axially projecting from one end thereof and a drive lug provided at the tip of the output shaft 21. A horizontal hole 30 is formed on the side surface of the driving part body 20, and a pair of claws 24, 25 is supported therein. The ratchet head 15 further comprises a reversing knob 30, and a cylindrical shank 31 formed on the knob 30 is fitted to the axial hole 28 of the body 20, and actuator pins 40, 41 are fitted to a pair of radial length holes 39, 39a extending in opposite directions from both side surfaces of the shank 31. The reversing knob 30 has a plastic head 50 having a large diameter, preferably a diameter 2-3 times the diameter of the shank 31, the head 50 preferably consists of nylon. |
