PURPOSE: To automatically insert a leading end part of a conveying tape for carrying thereon a plurality of single parts of coffee powder, into a tape drive means in a coffee machine by incorporating a specified mechanical interface assembly between the coffee machine and the conveying tape. CONSTITUTION: A conveying tape 34 for carrying thereon a plurality of single parts 36, 37 of coffee powder, at predetermined pitches, is made of a material which is adaptable for foods and which can be biologically decomposed. Further, this tape 34 is fixed in a container incorporating first and second interface members 2, 3 so that the lower end parts of the single parts 36, 37 embrace each other, and accordingly, a package unit is constituted. The conveying tape 34 is arranged and accommodated in a meandering condition. The first interface member 2 has a fork-like upper part having a plurality of rib members integrally provided with a cam member 8, and the second interface member 3 is provided with a support frame member 17 including a positioning element 20 and fixing elements 27, 28. |
