摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve engine performance without lowering the response of a turbosupercharger and without increasing the number of part items and the number of working manhours. CONSTITUTION:A pair of V-type banks 12 and 13 have the same number of cylinders as each other and a plurality of cylinders 1-8 and each cylinder is ignited at a given equal interval crank angle. Each of the cylinders of a pair of the banks is connected to an exhaust pipe 41 through a pair of exhaust manifolds 36 and 37 and a pair of turbosuprchargers 38 and 39. Formation of cam shafts 26 and 27 is such that, in a case of an ignition order wherein two cylinders 4 and 2, and 6 and 5 of one of a pair of the banks are continuously ignited, the angles of cams 33 and 34 for opening and closing exhaust valves 28 and 29 of the cylinders 4 and 6, which are earlier ignited, of the pairs of two cylinders are advanced by an angle of 5-10 deg., and further, the angles of the cams for opening and closing an exhaust valve of the cylinders 2 and 5, ignited in a delay, of pairs of the two cylinders are delayed by an angle of 5-10 deg..</p>
