PURPOSE: To prepare an oil-water suspension without using a chemical agent and without need for a moving member by allowing the outlet side of a helical cut of each helical disk to coincide with the inlet side of the helical cut of the subsequent helical disk through a spacer member with an abrupt transition point in between. CONSTITUTION: A suspending stack is formed by including eight independently reciprocating helical disks 25 and 26, i.e., the clockwise helical disks 26 and the counterclockwise helical disks 25, in the cylinder 17 body of the stack along with a spacer member 16. A deflector through an angle of 90 deg. is provided when an oil-water mixture flows from the disks 25 and 26 to the subsequent disks through the spacer member 16. The formation of an appropriate turbulent flow is ensured in the stack. The oil-water mixture strikes against each deflector through an angle of 90 deg. sufficient to cause slurrying. |
