PURPOSE:To economically produce a shape steel for steel-made continuous wall having good rolled shape and quality and asymmetrical round joints at the right and the left sides by using rolls used as a break-down mill and a universal mill for producing a wide flange shape steel in common. CONSTITUTION:A continuously cast slab is rolled to a perform 21 having symmetrical dog-bone shape at the right and the left sides with the break-down mill BD as the same way as the wide flange shape steel. Successively, the universal rolling is made to be large to the rolling reduction ratio of the flange at the thin side and the edger rolling is made to be large to the rolling reduction ratio of the flange at the thick side so that the bending at each pass becomes almost zero with the universal mills U1, U2 used with the same roll as the wide flange shape steel and the edgers E1, E2 whose setting of the rolling reduction ratio at the foot tips of the flanges becomes symmetry at the right and the left sides to produce an intermediate rolled steel having asymmetrical shapes at the right and the left side. Finally, a round bending and a finish-forming are executed to the flange part with a finishing mill F having the caliber of the asymmetrical shapes at the right and the left sides. |
