PURPOSE: To provide a transfer device for printed circuit boards capable of coping with the dimensional change of the printed circuit boards by means of a conveyor chain carrying individual circuit boards. CONSTITUTION: A transfer device for printed circuit boards 7 positions the circuit boards 7 in correct specified positions along a transfer path between and/or in the various work stations. The transfer device for the printed circuit boards 7, positioning the circuit boards into accurate specified positions has a conveyor chain 3 carrying individual circuit board holding devices 3d spaced apart at distances equal to a plurality of chain links 3c, and transfer strip portions 7b of board material separably provided on the circuit boards 7 and having no circuit function are held by the holding devices 3d for transfer by way of the moving conveyor chain 3. |
