<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer printer device reduced in size as a whole device by a method wherein an optically transparent cylinder to be wound with an ink ribbon and image receiving paper is provided, and a laser light emitting means is disposed inside the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In the use of a thermal transfer printer device, an ink ribbon A and image receiving paper B thereon are wound on the cylindrical wall of a drum 12 so as to be in close contact with each other. In a recording head 18 that is a laser light emitting means of a laser light generator and an optical system contained in a case, a semiconductor laser element generating near infrared light and the optical system are incorporated. The optical system incorporated in the recording head 18 is provided with an image forming lens and is so constructed that laser light L emitted from the semiconductor laser element can be focused on the ink ribbon A wound on the drum 12.</p> |
