PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition hardly containing voids, etc., in the interior, excellent in water resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, moldability, etc., and useful for FRP moldings by blending a vinyl ester resin with specific amounts of a shrinkage-reducing agent, a filler, a curing agent, a mold releasing agent and a viscosity-reducing agent. CONSTITUTION:This composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of total amount of a vinyl ester resin such as a resin obtained by blending a bisphenol A type vinylester resin with a novolak-based vinyl ester resin in a weight ratio of (100:0) to (50:50) and a shrinkage-reducing agent such as a saturated polyester with (B) 10-100 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler such as calcium carbonate or clay, (C) 2-8 pts.wt. of a curing agent such as peroxydicarbonate, (D) 2-5 pts.wt. of a mold releasing agent such as fatty acid (salt) and (E) 5-10 pts.wt. of viscosity-reducing agent such as styrene so that the ratio of the shrinkage-reducing agent is 5-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A. |
