PURPOSE:To produce an extrusion-molded product, a stretched product, and a film-formed product obtained from a polyvinyl alcohol resin composition and excellent in selective gas permeability and to prepare a film for packaging foods. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition comprises (A) 40-80wt.% of a polyvinyl alcohol resin having a saponification degree of 60-95mol.%, (B) 5-40wt.% of the saponification product of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, (C) 1-15wt.% of a thermoplastic resin having a softening temperature of 130 deg.C, and (D) 5-15wt.% of polyethylene glycol, wherein the yield stress value of the resin composition comprising the components (B) and (C) is <=85% of the yeidl stress value of the component (B) alone at 90 deg.C. A stretched product is obtained from the resin composition. |
