<p>PURPOSE: To automatically collect various kinds of customer information by reading items of information from the information carrier to make it possible to transmit items of information to a shop computer. CONSTITUTION: A pledge lock 1 is mounted to a shopping trolley, and when a customer wants to use a trolley, a joint member of the adjoining trolley is opened when the information carrier 2 is inserted in a slot of the lock 1 for the trolley. During the use of the trolley, the information carrier 2 is kept in the lock 1, and after the use of the trolley, when it is recombined with other trolley, the information carrier 2 is opened after the incursion of the joint member. The information carrier 2 is checked with the lock, items of information are checked by depending on kinds of a card, and only when the information coincides with it, the joint member is opened. The pledge lock 1 can have a specific current source, and items of the information on the information carrier 2 can be read or stored through it. When the information of items reaches one area of a shop, the items can be automatically read out.</p> |
