PURPOSE:To obtain a monoclonal antibody against a ganglioside containing de-N-acetylsialic acid. CONSTITUTION:This-monoclonal antibody is prepared by chemically synthesizing de-N-acetyl GM2 which is a ganglioside containing de-N-acetylsialic acid (Japanese Patent Application Hei 4-173148), immunizing a mouse with the synthesized de-N-acetyl GM2, extracting the spleen cell from the immunized mouse, fusing with a myeloma cell to obtain a hybridoma, cloning the prepared hybridoma to establish a hybridoma DM2-1 (deposited in the National Institute of Bioscience and Human Technology as FERM P-13960) and using the hybridoma DM2-1 for the preparation of the monoclonal antibody. |
