PURPOSE: To obtain a stabilizing solvent containing condensation product of alkylene oxide, minimum amount of carboxylate anion which inhibits degradation of pharmaceuticals, extending shelf life and lower amounts of degradation by-product. CONSTITUTION: This solvents contains the condensation product of alkylene oxide and fats and oils, preferably polyoxyethylated castor oil, containing sufficiently low amount (preferably below 0.6×10<-6> g equivalent of carboxylate anion per 1 ml) of carboxylate anion to inhibit the degradation of pharmaceuticals, preferably the compound is polyethoxylated 12-hydroxystearic acid, and the solvent contains an alcohol such as ethanol, polyethyleneglycol, etc. |
