<p>PURPOSE: To provide a medical device in which a carrier of a patient bed can be simply controlled. CONSTITUTION: A medical device composed of a bed support part 9, and a patient bed 7 having a table top part 11 which is movable at least in the longitudinal direction of the bed support part, relative to the latter, is provided with a first drive mechanism 21 for assisting the motion of the bed, and a fixing mechanism 23 for fixing the table top part 11 to the bed support part. This device also includes a common control member 43 for longitudinally moving the table top part 11 so as to actuate the first drive mechanism 21 and the fixing mechanism 23. The control member is composed of a link rod 57 which can be moved in its longitudinal direction so as to cooperate with a switch 67 for energizing the fixing mechanism 23, and a control element 71 which can be moved in a direction crosswise of the longitudinal direction of the link rod so as to cooperate with a sensor 73 delivering an output signal for energizing the drive mechanism. The link rod and the control element 71 can be moved by means of a common control knob 59, and the table top part 11 can be moved with no assist by the first drive mechanism 21.</p> |
