NEW TRIFLUOROMETHOXYFLUOROPROPANES AND THEIR PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To synthesize a fluorine-containing ether compound and & obtain 1-trifluoromethoxy-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane which is a new compound. CONSTITUTION:This trifluoromethoxyfluoropropane compound expressed by the formula CF3O-R<1> (R<1> is a fluorine-containing 3C alkyl) can be produced by reacting fluorophosgene expressed by the formula COF2 with a sulfonic acid ester compound of the formula R<1>-OSO2-R<2> (R<1> is same as defined above; R<2> is an alkyl or a fluorine-containing alkyl) in an aprotic polar solvent or without using a solvent in the presence of an alkali metal fluoride or an alkaline earth metal fluoride.
