PURPOSE:To adequately grind coffee beans without leaving non-ground beans by executing the first grinding for the time set by a first time measuring means and stopping a motor for the time set by a third time measuring means, then executing the second grinding for the time set by a second time measuring means. CONSTITUTION:The coffee beans in a bean vessel 1 fall into a grinding chamber 2 and are ground by a cutter 4 driven by the motor 3. The power supply to the motor 3 is controlled by a motor driving section 5. The ground coffee beans are accumulated through a mesh filter 6 into a paper filter in a paper basket 7. Coffee components are extracted by pouring of hot water and are accumulated in a vessel 19. In such a case, the motor 3 is driven by a first motor control means 20 when the time measured by the first time measuring means 21 indicates the time within the prescribed time. The motor is stopped only for the time set by the third time measuring means 22 after lapse of the prescribed time. The motor is so controlled as to be driven again for the time set by the second time measuring means 23. |
