PURPOSE:To provide a high efficient automatic buff polishing device wherein a shape, dimension and a material are multifarious and further buff polishing can be finished without dispersion in a workpiece of automobile wheel or the like in small quantity production. CONSTITUTION:A device os provided with a plurality of buff polishing machines provided along a working line to perform rough finish, intermediate finish, high finish, etc., and a workpiece holding pallet 61 conveyed to the successive buff polishing machine by a workpiece transfer conveyer by holding a workpiece 60 fixed. Buff polishing heads 14, 15, supported movably in parallel and vertical directions to an axial line of the spindle of the heads and further tiltably relating to the horizontal, are provided with respectively controlling servomotors and a control means for program-controlling action of the servomotor by a computer matched with a shape of the workpiece. The pallet 61 is lifted from on the workpiece conveyer in a prescribed buff polishing position, and the workpiece 60 is rotated around its center axial line, to perform uniform buff polishing. |
