PURPOSE:To provide a vital organism inspecting brush for use with endoscope which can sample certainly a part of vital organism such as tissue and which can serve while inserted through a working channel in a thin endoscope. CONSTITUTION:This vital organism inspecting brush for use with an endoscope is equipped with a long stretching wire 7 to be inserted slidably into a accommodation tube 6, a tip member 8 secured to the tip of the wire 7, and a brush element 9 consisting of a number of sampling filaments 11 to be installed at the foremost of the wire 7. The filaments 11 are made of an alloy having a hyperelastic characteristic and are accommodated in the tube 6 while deformed elastically under the condition that the tip member 8 is set as a lid on the foremost opening of the tube 6. When the wire 7 is pushed in to the foremost side, these filaments 11 are exposed from the tube 6 to generate a condition to admit sampling operation when they are willing to be restored in the radial direction.
