ULTRASONIC PARTICLE LEVEL MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable ultrasonic particle level measuring apparatus in which the particle level can be detected positively by lowering the sound pressure level in the vicinity of an ultrasonic sensor. CONSTITUTION:A supporting plate 8 is fixed to the upper part of a cylindrical support 7 mounted on the top of a silo 1 for containing a granular material 2 and a particle level gauge 9 comprising an ultrasonic sensor is fixed onto the supporting plate 8. In such ultrasonic particle level measuring apparatus, an ultrasonic wave absorbing material 12 is applied to the inner face of the cylindrical support 7.
