PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition excellent in an ability to absorb near-infrared rays by mixing a transparent resin with lead sulfide, a specified thiourea derivative and an amide derivative and to obtain a near-infrared-absorbing transparent sheet or film by molding this composition. CONSTITUTION:100 pts. wt. transparent resin (A) is mixed with 0.01-5 pts.wt. lead sulfide (B). Components A and B are mixed with 0.001-1 pt.wt. thiourea derivative (C) represented by formula I (wherein R1 to R3 are each H, alkyl or aryl or they may be suitably combined with each other to form a ring) or 0.001-1 pt.wt. amide derivative (D) represented by formula II (wherein R4 and R5 are each H, alkyl, aryl or the like, and they may be suitably combined with each other to form a ring). As component A, a transparent resin such as a polycarbonate resin, a styrene resin or a vinyl chloride resin is used. As component B, lead sulfide having a mean particle diameter of 2mum or below and having a content of particles with a particle diameter of 20mum or above of 0 is desirable. It is effective to add a dispersing agent for lead sulfide such as sorbitan monostearate. According to this recipe, a near-infrared- absorbent showing absorptions uniformly over the near-infrared region of 800-2000nm, less colored and having excellent durability can be obtained. |
