<p>PURPOSE:To recover a plastic by mixing a solution of the plastic with a precipitant to precipitate the plastic component in the form of small pieces, pressing these pieces between a pair of desorption rollers of a specified structure to squeeze the adherent matter from them and drying them. CONSTITUTION:This process comprises dissolving a waste plastic in a solvent, mixing the solution with a precipitant to precipitate the plastic component in the form of small pieces, separating the pieces from the solution, (A) pressing the separated pieces against an absorbent to desorb the adherent solvent, plasticizer and precipitant, (B) drying the pieces in a vacuum in a fluidized state, and recovering the dried pieces. With reference to an apparatus provided with treatment sections A and B, section A 10 is provided with a pair of desorption rollers 11 rotating in a state in which they are pressed against each other. Each roller has a plurality of drilled holes on the periphery, is hollow, is surrouned with a nonwoven fabric and desorbs the adherent matter from the pieces by the action of inside negative pressure. A heating gas is supplied to a drying tank 20 in section B, and the pieces are fluidized and dried in a vacuum. The dried pieces are recovered.</p> |
