PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and a cost by improving a fuel pressure regulating device for a non-return type device. CONSTITUTION: The housing 30 of a fuel pressure regulator is divided into an inlet chamber 56 and an outlet chamber 58 by a diaphragm 54. A spring 82 in an outlet chamber 58 applies a preload on the diaphragm 54 in a direction in which the central through-hole 66 of the diaphragm 54 is closed. When a fuel is supplied to the inlet chamber 56, a through-hole 66 is opened, a proper amount of excessive fuel flows in the outlet chamber 58 and by returning the excessive fuel through its outlet 86 to a tank, a fuel supply pressure is regulated. |
