The fixture (1) in its pocket (2) can pivot between a first position in which it does not extend above the upper surface of the vehicle platform and a second position in which it does extend from that surface for connection tot he wire or chain. In its second position a part (12) of the fixture locates against a stop (4) in the pocket, and can be activated so it is pushed away from the stop so that it may pivot to its first position.
