A device for injecting anti-freeze liquid into a gas pressure or vacuum system comprises a bucket piston 1, operated on its upward stroke by pressure variations in chamber 3 produced by compressor 20 in the system, and on its downward stroke by a spring 2, anti-freeze passing from chamber 7 to chamber 3 via piston skirt 17 during the upward stroke, and a fresh charge being drawn into chamber 7 from a source 11 via an inlet valve comprising ports 14 controlled by flexible sleeve 15 during the downward stroke. An outlet stop valve 19 is provided. Compressor 20 supplies a regulator 21 and reservoir 22 in the system. |
