PURPOSE:To automatically perform power-ON operation and calling operation by detecting an earphone being drawn out of an earphone storage part and performing control. CONSTITUTION:The earphone 3 of a cordless telephone slave equipment is drawn out and put on an ear. With the drawn-out earphone 3, an electric conductor is drawn out of a storage mechanism part 4. A conductive seal 8 provided to the electric conductor moves from the contact 9 of a detection part 7, and detecting circuit is opened, so that a detection part 7 operates. The signal from the detection part 7 in operation is sent to a control part 1. The control part 1 having received the signal performs the power-ON operation and calling operation unless the cordless telephone slave equipment is powered ON, and automatically operates until a line is caught. Therefore, two operations for operating a calling switch, etc., are omitted. |
