PURPOSE:To provide an image processor capable of reducing the memory capacity of a registered pattern for a specific image, shortening a judging time and reducing misjudgemet for deviation in the arrangement of a specific original in a forgery preventing function. CONSTITUTION:A position state detecting part 4 detects the positional information of a specific image such as a paper money, a rotational processing part 5 executes rotational processing to picture element data stored in a buffer memory 3 based upon the positional information and outputs the processed data to a blocking part 6, which divides the input data into prescribed blocks and the average density value of each block is stored in a block memory 8. A block equality judging part 10 compares the contents of the memory 8 with that of a pattern memory 9 previously stored with the information of the specific image data, counts the number of blocks regarded as equal blocks and outputs the number of blocks to a specific image judging part 12, which compares its input with a set value previously stored in a set value memory 13 for the number of blocks and outputs the compared result to an output control part 14. |
