PURPOSE:To abolish a defrosting heater and to perform energy conservation by preventing flow of cold gas to a deep freezing chamber by cold gas circulation control means of the chamber at the time of turning OFF a cooling system and driving cold gas supply means. CONSTITUTION:The air supplied by cold gas supply means 10 is not fed to a deep freezing chamber 18 by a damper 17a of cold gas circulation control means 17, but fed from an opening 21 of a side surface to a cold storage chamber 20 through a cold storage chamber duct 19. The air cools in the refrigerator to become a temperature of about 5-7 deg.C, is returned from a suction port 23 to an evaporator chamber 2, heat exchanged with an evaporator 3, and then fed to the opening 21 by the means 10. Diffusing to the freezing chamber is closed during OFF of a refrigerating cycle, the supply means is driven, and defrosting is conducted by an air heat source in the refrigerator. Thus, a defrosting heater is abolished, and energy conservation is performed. |
