PURPOSE:To form an oriented film by a heating process at a temperature lower than the thermal resistant temp. of a plastic substrate by using polyether amide or its deriv. as the main component of the oriented film. CONSTITUTION:A polarizing plate 1 is disposed to transmit only a light vibrating strongly in a specified direction. Hardcoats 2 and 4 function as a gas barrier or an ITO undercoat, and acryl, epoxy, siloxane-based coating film are used. Moreover, a topcoat 6 (insulated film) which is called generally a overcoat treatment, is provided on the surface of a substrate electrode as a thin protective film. The oriented film 7 is produced by dissolving polyether amide or its deriv. in a solvent, then printing on a plastic substrate 3, removing only solvent by heating and/or vacuum heating and baking it at a temperature lower than the thermal resistant temp. of the plastic substrate 3. |
