PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of heating due to switching loss, shortage of operating time, increase in ripple and others by reducing magnetic sound caused by higher harmonics. CONSTITUTION:ON-time signal generating means 12 is provided, which is capable of generating a signal proportional to ON time within a period of carrier signal of a switching element 3 obtaining an output signal by inputting a voltage command signal and a carrier signal. Further provided are timing signal generating means 13 generating a timing signal for changing with time either ON timing or OFF timing of the switching element 3 for each of a plurality of periods of the carrier signal, and switching signal generating means 11 outputting the switching signal driving the switching element 3 in response to the ON time signal and timing signal. |
