PURPOSE:To provide an image processor which is capable of calculating a centroid coordinate by small circuit scale at high speed. CONSTITUTION:This processor is composed of a centroid calculation circuit having a temporary labeling part 12 performing a temporary labeling for each area in an image, calculation parts 16 and 18 calculating the lengths of the X coordinate, the Y coordinate and th& picture element of an area for which the temporary labeling is performed, a label integrating part imparting a true same label to the same area and preparing a true label/temporary label correspondence table, calculation parts 30, 32 and 34 calculating the area value, the primary moment in an X direction and the primary moment in a Y direction of the area where the true same label is imparted based on the true label/ temporary label correspondence table and a centroid calculation part 36 determining a centroid by the primary moment in the X direction of the true label/the area value of the true label and the primary moment in the Y direction of the true label/the area value of the true label based on these area value, primary moment in the X direction of the true label and the primary moment in the Y direction of the true label. |
