PURPOSE:To more exactly detect a specified image. CONSTITUTION:In each of ROM 1041 to 1043, the information showing the hues of image original obtained by reading the image originals whose surface states are different (old and new) in specified originals of the same kind(for instance, paper money whose denomination is the same) is preliminarily stored. Next, th address to be specified by the value of inputted RGB image is imparted to the ROM 1041 to 1043 and whether the hue of an inputted image and the hues of the specified images stored in the ROM 1041 to 1043 match or not is investigated. The results are outputted to OR circuit 1180 to 1187, and if it is judged that any one of the decision results obtained from the ROM 1041 to 1043 matches with the specified image, the inputted image is decided as the specified image. |
