PURPOSE:To provide a pre-reformer having a compact structure and capable of efficiently reforming fuel gas by forming the pre-reformer with a plurality of flat pre-reformer plates, providing a recess forming a fuel gas distribution path on each pre-reformer plate, and filling a catalyst into the recess. CONSTITUTION:In a flat plate type solid electrolyte fuel cell having an internal manifold structure, the flat first pre-reformer plate 1 having the same surface size as that of a separator 4 is provided with a recess 1e forming a fuel gas distribution path and having a fuel inflow through hole 1a, a discharged fuel through hole 1d, a fed air through hole 1c, and a discharged air through hole 1b, and a fuel reforming catalyst is filled into the recess 1e. The pre-reformer plate 1, the same second pre-reformer plate 2, and the third pre-reformer plate 3 having no recess are sealed and laminated to form a pre-reformer, then a pre-reformer for a flat plate type solid fuel cell having a compact structure and capable of efficiently reforming the fuel gas is obtained. |
