PURPOSE:To provide a ventilator, ventilating a room quickly so as not to fill the room with gas and capable of providing a comfortable room. CONSTITUTION:The main body 2 of a ventilating fan is installed on the wall surface 1 of a room and a receiving unit 3, receiving a signal, is provided at the lower part of the main body 2 of the fan while a gas sensor 7, detecting gas, and a switching unit 8, for controlling the main body 2 of the ventilating fan, are provided on the main body 4 of a remote controller. Further, a transmitting unit 9, transmitting the signals of the gas sensor 7 and the switching unit 8 to the main body 2 of the ventilating fan, is provided on the remote controller.
