PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic device capable of easily forming an image having no afterimage even in the case of using an exposing means of long wavelength being >=700nm by respectively setting the film thickness of a photoreceptive layer formed of an a-Si layer and the center exposing wavelength of the exposing means forming an exposed image to specified values. CONSTITUTION:An optical system consisting of an LED head for exposing 2 and a 'Selfoc<(>R<)>' lens 3, a two-component developing unit 4, a transfer roller 5, a cleaning blade 6, a destaticizing lamp 7 and an electrostatic charging unit 8 are disposed in a rotating direction around an a-Si photoreceptive drum 1. The photoreceptive layer 1b is formed of the a-Si layer having the film thickness being <=25mum and the center exposing wavelength of the exposing means for forming the exposed image is set to >=700nm. Therefore, in the case exposure is performed in a state where the surface potential of the drum 1 is electrostatically charged to <=450V and the exposing wavelength is set to >=700nm, the high resolution image having high sharpness and having no afterimage is formed by setting the thickness of the photoreceptive layer 1b to <=25nm. |
