PURPOSE:To improve iHc by crystallizing heat treatment under a specific condition after superquenching molten (Fe, M)-Mn-B-R alloy of a specific composition that contains less rare metal element into an amorphous or a mixture of fine crystals and amorphous. CONSTITUTION:An iron based bonded magnet that has a composition of which formula is expressed as (Fe1-aMa)100-x-y-zMnxByRz (R is either or both of Pr and Nd, and M is one or more out of Al, Si, S, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ag, Pt, Au and Pb) and symbols x, y and z that determine ranges of composition are within the range of 0.01<=x<=7at%, 10<=y<=30at%, 3<=z<=6at% and 0.005<=a<=0.3, and has a soft magnetic phase of ferromagnetism that consists mainly of alpha-iron and iron, and a hard magnetism phase that has a crystal structure of Nd2Fe14B that are coexistent in the same powder particles, and is made of resin bonded powders of which average particle sizes are in the range of 3 to 500mu and average particle sizes of which each comprising phase are in the range of 1 to 5nm. |
